In 2006, Hager Productions was established by Rick Hager to meet the evolving customer demand for providing web content to satisfy quickly evolving marketing and recruiting needs. Since the company’s inception, Hager Productions has expanded to include video productions for clients from the corporate, industrial, service, and educational sectors. The company’s staff manages video production projects from start to finish, including script writing, graphic design, technical authoring, and audio editing.
Our clients tell us they appreciate our small business environment that allow us to intimately work with clients to custom develop productions and respond to issues quickly and promptly. Our mission is to keep our clients’ marketing and recruiting costs at a minimum while maximizing marketing and recruiting potential. This involves a detailed, highly personalized process of outlining goals, analyzing current video offerings, and developing and implementing a customized video production plan.

Rick Hager, Owner
Producer/Director
Rick received a degree in broadcasting at Ithaca College in 1983, and subsequently went to work in the television broadcasting industry. Rick’s experience includes two decades at WHEC-TV, in Rochester, New York, as a Producer, Reporter, Anchor, and Sports Director. Rick’s accolades include being selected as the Associated Press best sportscaster in New York three times, and being honored as sportscaster of the year by the Rochester Press Radio Club and the American Legion. When he is not producing and directing video productions, Rick is a husband to Ann, a Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology, and a father to three boys. Further, Rick enjoys golfing and playing pond hockey.

Corey Axelrod
Director of Marketing and Sales
Corey received his Masters in Business Administration degree in Marketing and Sales Management from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2010. Interested in the production industry for its in-depth impact on branding, he comes to Hager Production with an extensive background in marketing and sales. When he is not at work, Corey spends his time reading, writing, listening to music, and playing and watching sports.
